Another week and another Rookie of the Week honor for a Duquesne basketball player.

The A-10 announced today that Duquesne’s Isiaha Mike was named the conference rookie of the week for last weeks games.

In games vs. Robert Morris and Central Connecticut State, Mike averaged 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. In Saturday’s win over Central Connecticut State, Mike scored a season-high 17 points and buried a three point shot with time winding down to seal the victory for the Dukes.

This is the fourth time that a Dukes player has won the award joining Mike Lewis II who’s been honored three times already. The Duquesne media department points out that this is the first time since 2013 that Duquesne has had 2 different Rookies of the Week in the same season (Derrick Colter and Quevyn Winters).
