UPDATE (11:14 AM)-

**I’m told that 3-star cornerback and current Boston College commitment Jason Pinnock will be making an official visit to Pitt on the weekend of January 13-15. Pinnock is one of players I hinted at last week but wouldn’t reveal his name.

UPDATE (11:01 AM)-

**Breaking: Lane Kiffin was just hired as Florida Atlantic’s new head coach. Who does LSU hire as the OC?

UPDATE (10:35 AM)-

**The story that all Pitt fans are following is whether or not offensive coordinator Matt Canada will be leading the Pitt offense next season.

Here’s what I know. A source close to LSU tells me that this all revolves around Lane Kiffin, who is also talking to Florida Atlantic about their vacant head coaching position. If Kiffin wants the LSU offensive coordinators job, it’s his.

If not, I’m told that Canada is one of three candidates that LSU has already vetted, the other two being Steve Sarkisian and Mark Helfrich. In fact, my source says that Canada would be #1 on LSU’s wish list.

Last season, Canada made in the neighborhood of $500,000 at Pitt and LSU paid $1.2 million for their offensive coordinator and are paying $1.8 million to current DC Dave Aranda.

UPDATE (10:05 AM)-

**From what I’m seeing on Twitter, a group of Pitt fans are disappointed that no “Pat Signal” appeared this weekend. All I’ll say is have patience. Most of these recruits travel here without their parents and don’t want to make such a life changing decision before talking with their family. In the end, I’d be surprised if Pitt didn’t land  most of the players that visited this weekend. Patience.

UPDATE (9:51 AM)-

**It appears as though Pitt isn’t going to offer Ohio 4-star athlete Jarell White. Last night, White told me that Pitt hasn’t been in contact with him for over 2 weeks. Although things can always change in recruiting, it appears as though White and Pitt aren’t a match.
