Canada Accepts LSU Job

Published

on

As expected, Pitt is looking for a new offensive coordinator.

Sports Illustrated is reporting that Matt Canada has accepted LSU’s offer to become its new offensive coordinator. Canada arrived in Louisiana yesterday and accepted the job this morning.

Canada will be introduced today at a 1:30 PM press conference. Pitt’s search for a new offensive leader begins immediately.

Since 2010, this is Canada’s 6th different job (LSU, Pitt, NC State, Indiana, Wisconsin, Northern Illinois).

According to LSU beat writer Ross Dellenger, Canada gets a 3-year contract worth over $1 million per season.

I’ll have more on this developing story throughout the day.
