**Interesting development with Washington DC 3-star DE Kofi Wardlow, who’s visiting Pitt today. Tom Loy of 247 Sports reports that coaches from Notre Dame were in today to visit Wardlow. At this point, no offer yet but stay tuned. Right now, Wardlow is committed to Maryland.

**Clairton athlete Noah Hamlin will visit Luke Fickell and Cincinnati this weekend. All the best to Noah on his visit.

UPDATE (7:06 AM)-

**Huge weekend for Pitt as they have their first of three consecutive weekends where they host recruits on official visits. Starting today, they’re scheduled to host these recruits: LB Cam Bright, LB Albert Tucker, TE Tyler Sear, WR Dontavius Butler, RB Todd Sibley, WR Darian Street, S Paris Ford, LB Nathan Proctor, DE TyJuan Garbutt, DE Chrishawn Wilson, DE Kofi Wardlow and CB Jason Pinnock.

UPDATE (6:54 AM)-

**The big visit today for Pitt is with 4-star DT Kam Carter. Pitt would love to have a future defense line with talent like Carter, Jaylen Twyman, Keyshawn Camp and Amir Watts. Carter is scheduled to visit Pitt next weekend and I like Pitt’s chances to land him.

UPDATE 6:26 AM-

**Here’s a quick recap of the whereabouts of some of the Pitt assistants yesterday as they hit the road recruiting.

**Rob Harley was in Maryland with 4-star linebacker Nathan Proctor, someone Pitt is trying to flip. Harley had a in home visit with Proctor, who will be in town this weekend for his official visit.

**Josh Conklin was in North Carolina with DE Zion Debose, who later in the day was visited by Virginia Tech. For Conklin to visit Debose with his first visit of the day shows how much Pitt thinks of him.

“Coach Conklin told me I’m a top priority for them and they really want me. I think I was the only one he visited today so that means a lot. They are a top school for a reason. I like the staff and I’m ready to visit,’ said Debose.

**Tim Salem was in Connecticut with priority cornerback recruit Jason Pinnock. Although they haven’t offered yet, Pitt appears to be battling Notre Dame for Pinnock.

**Thomas Sims visited with Washington DC DE and current Maryland commit Kofi Wardlow. Like they’ve done with a few other recruits (Deslin Alexandre, Damarri Mathis, Kenny Pickett, Tyler Sear), Pitt is hoping to flip Wardlow, who’s also making his official visit to Pitt today.

**Kevin Sherman was in Florida visiting one current Pitt commitment and two players they’d like to be. Sherman spent the day with 4-star RB A.J. Davis, WR Michael Smith and Pitt commit CB Damarri Mathis. Pitt wanted to have contact with Smith and Davis prior to them making official visits to other schools this weekend.

**Pat Narduzzi and Andre Powell were in Washington DC on a home visit with priority defensive tackle Jaylen Twyman. I believe Pitt is trying to get a commitment from him before he’s scheduled to make other official visits. Regardless of when he commits, I believe Pitt is in a real good position to land Twyman.
