Recruits React To Pitt Official Visit

Published

on

The Pitt football program wrapped up the first of three consecutive weekends of hosting recruits for their official visits. This weekend, Pat Narduzzi and his staff brought in 12 recruits, some that are already committed and others that they hope will do so soon.

As these players leave Pittsburgh and head back home, we’ll attempt to reach them and get their reactions to the weekend.

CAM BRIGHT:

My reaction and opinion of the visit was wonderful. Pitt showed me a great time, and this is definitely somewhere I see my self attending for the next 3-4 years! Something that stood out most to me was the campus, the last few times I was here I was always around the facility and field, so getting a look around the actual campus was a good experience. Nothing really surprised me too much because I know the coaches are going to exceed my expectations. They just show me and my parents a good time every time we come around. My reaction with all of them was pretty chill. We all got along well, and all of us shared a bond. I have a good feeling a couple more recruits will commit when this is all said and done.

JASON PINNOCK:

Our reaction was exactly what Coach Salem told us we would experience, it was great. The main and most important thing that stood out to me was the instant connect/chemistry with the commits, recruits, coaches, and players. It felt like I knew these dudes for years when I really just met them two weeks ago, haha. We definitely felt a bond, we all could agree we had a great time and I personally really bonded with Cam Bright, Darian Street, Paris Ford, Todd Sibley, etc.

TYLER SEAR:

The visit was great from start to finish. The best was how well myself and the other recruits/commits connected. I got along with everyone well, I’d say myself and Paris, Tyjuan, Todd, Nate, and Jason got along probably the best.

DARIAN STREET:

The visit was amazing and went beyond my expectations. I never had so much fun in my life! The family atmosphere, the classes and buildings were amazing, and also all of the players are real good guys. Nothing really surprised me… I had a great time and expected that. All of us had a great time! Everyone was bonding and I really felt comfortable with all them! They were all really cool guys to be around.
