Pitt Coaches Out Recruiting Last Night

Published

on

Since the Pitt basketball team is off until next week, Kevin Stallings and his assistant coaches were on the road last night recruiting.

The emphasis last night was on working to strengthen relationships with elite junior prospects.

According to my sources, here’s where Pitt coaches traveled to:

**Kevin Stallings attended the game for 2018 prospect Bryce Golden.

Golden is a 247 Sports 4-star small forward from Sharpsburg, Maryland. Golden (6-7, 220) is rated the #4 prospect in Maryland and one of the Top 100 junior prospects in the country. Golden currently holds offers from Xavier, Penn State, NC State, George Washington and Clemson.

**Assistant coach Kevin Sutton attended the game for 2018 prospect Jerome Hunter.

Hunter is a 247 Sports 4-star small forward from Pickerington, Ohio. Hunter is rated as the #3 prospect in Ohio and one of the Top 100 junior prospects in the country. Hunter currently holds offers from Michigan, Ohio State, Dayton, Penn State, Purdue, Xavier and West Virginia.

**Assistant coach Jeremy Ballard attended the game for 2018 prospect Brandon Johns.

Johns is a 247 Sports 4-star power forward from East Lansing, Michigan. Johns is rated as the #1 prospect in Michigan and one of the Top 50 junior prospects in the country. Johns holds offers from Michigan State, Alabama and Iowa.

**One other name to keep an eye on for this year’s class is a junior college player named Bruce Stevens. The 6-8, 257 power forward is from Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi. The Pitt coaches attended his game the other night and Stevens had 29 points and 12 rebounds.
