UPDATE (10:12 PM)-

**I don’t know the meaning behind “Pooh” (yet), but I can tell you that the dog in this picture with Coach Harley is Nathan Proctor’s dog.

UPDATE (10:26 AM)-

**Pitt coaches are not only working on finishing up this year’s class but are also making contact with underclassman throughout the country.

Here are some players that Pitt coaches have checked in on over the last few days.

  • 2018 linebacker Brian AsaMoah (Columbus, Ohio): Coach Harley stopped by. AsaMoah holds an offer from Pitt
  • 2018 offensive tackle Derek Devine (North Allegheny HS): Coach Peterson has been in contact about attending Pitt’s Junior Day
  • 2018 offensive tackle/defensive end Larry Ross (Highstown, New Jersey): Coach Salem has been in contact
  • 2018 defensive tackle/center Devin Danielson (Thomas Jefferson High School): Coach Harley has checked in with him. Danielson could end up being a big-time prospect.
  • 2018 safety Isaiah Bowser (Sidney, Ohio): Coach Harley is the recruiter, could be close to offering.
  • 2018 4-star outside linebacker Christopher Oats (Cincinnati, Ohio): Pitt was at his school on Monday, I believe Coach Conklin. Oats holds an offer from Pitt.

UPDATE (9:17 AM)-

**Here’s some information that I’ve received from a source close to Nathan Proctor. I’m told that tonight’s in-home visit is going to be huge for Pitt’s chances to flip him. Source tells me that Proctor is “still on the fence.”

Here’s one other interesting thing.

“He is very good friends with Dylan Rivers. Not sure if [Rivers] going to Tech will have an impact on Nathan. On the flip side, he’s good friends with Chase Pine.”

UPDATE (8:00 AM)-

**Just learned of another big visit for Pitt today. A source tells me that Pitt will be meeting with Virginia 4-star DE Tyjuan Garbutt. In the last 24 hours, the sense is that Garbutt is headed to Virginia Tech but Pitt is going to try and change that. This will not be an in home visit by Coach Narduzzi so he still has one more visit with him.

UPDATE (7:57 AM)-

UPDATE (7:19 AM)-

**It will be a big day for the Pitt coaches as they meet with 4-star linebacker Nathan Proctor. I’m told that this morning at 8AM, Coach Narduzzi, Coach Harley and Coach Powell will be at Proctor’s school to talk with him and then tonight, they will have an in home visit with him. Eight days away from National Signing Day, can Pitt get Proctor to change his mind and flip from Virginia Tech?
