Manigault Announces Transfer from Pitt

Published

A second member of Pitt basketball’s 2016 recruiting class has announced his intention of transferring from the university.

Freshman forward Corey Manigault tweeted out that he’s leaving the University of Pittsburgh.

In limited playing time, Manigault averaged 0.8 points and 0.8 rebounds per game. Considering his lack of playing time and Kevin Stallings desire to have his own roster, this move comes as no shock.

Manigault (6-foot-8, 235 pounds) was a 3-star recruit from Fairfax, Virginia.

Yesterday, guard Crisshawn Clark also announced he was transferring from Pitt after missing the entire season with a knee injury.

As it stands now, the only players returning from this year’s team are Cam Johnson, Ryan Luther, Damon Wilson, Jonathan Milligan and Rozelle Nix.

It wouldn’t surprise me if we saw another departure from the roster.
