**When the Pitt Panthers get back on the practice field tomorrow a big time recruit will be there to watch them. 2019 4-star Illinois offensive tackle Will Putnam is making the trip to Pittsburgh. Putnam has held an offer from Pitt for almost a year. The talented offensive tackle visited Pitt a year ago and received the offer from Pat Narduzzi.

“I had a good time when I was there last year. It’s a school that I like and one I want to learn more about so getting out to Pitt this spring is something my family and I wanted to do. I remember how I liked the coaches and how everything was organized. he facilities were nice and the players seemed enthusiastic about playing football for Pitt. The city of Pittsburgh itself is very cool,” said Putnam.

“I’m gonna really observe how the coaches coach at practice. Since I was at a camp last year and not a practice, I was not able to see how their practices were run and how the coaches interacted with the players. I would also like to talk more with the offensive coaches and get a better feel for them.”

“One thing that interests me most about Pitt is the atmosphere. It’s a tough atmosphere and everyone is working hard to be better. I also really like Coach Narduzzi, he’s a great guy and also is a great motivator.”
