They’ve only been on the job for less than four days, but the new Duquesne coaching staff has already extended offers to a handful of players.

The latest offer went went to a 2017 point guard from Michigan.

Setting young men on the path to a better future.

Jackson (5-foot-9, 160 pounds) attends Dakota High School in Detroit, Michigan. Rivals rates Jackson as a 3-star recruit with offers from Auburn, Colorado, DePaul, Georgia Tech, Northwestern and SMU.

Last night, Jackson added Duquesne to his offer list after getting a call from the coaching staff.

“Coach Thomas contacted me asking if I had any interest in Duquesne mentioning his whole staff from Akron came over. They just offered my longtime friend and teammate Jack Ballantyne. I told him that I had interest in the school. Already knowing him from Akron, I know that he’s a good coach and a great guy,” said Jackson.

Jackson is a talented player and a winner, I asked him to describe his game to Duquesne fans.

“I feel like that I’m a player that makes his teammates better. I not only create shots for myself but I can create easy shots for my team. I feel like I’m a great leader, and also my 3-point shooting is pretty lethal. I can get to the basket at ease and score or dish it to an teammate.”

Good news for Duquesne because Jackson tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he plans on making an official visit to Duquesne soon, possibly on April 8-9.
