**Duquesne has offered 2017 power forward Nick Washington (6-foot-8, 225 pounds) from South Kent High School. Washington is making a visit this weekend to Duquesne.

**Interesting offer this morning by Pitt. Safety Jeremiah Salaam from Frostproof, Florida received an offer from the Panthers. Salaam (6-foot-1, 180 pound) isn’t rated by 247 Sports but holds offers from Notre Dame, Kentucky, South Florida and Vanderbilt.

**Reportedly, Duquesne is looking at a talented player that’s transferring from the SEC. Missouri guard Frankie Hughes has gotten his release from the university. Duquesne along with Minnesota, Wichita State and Dayton have interest in Hughes, who would have to sit a year and three years of eligibility remaining.

**Will Duquesne receive a commitment this weekend? Well, Keith Dambrot and his program will have plenty of recruits on campus this weekend.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed that Michigan players Jack Ballantyne and Jermaine Jackson, along with Virginia guard Joshua Colon are in Pittsburgh this weekend.
Reportedly, South Kent 6-foot-8 power forward Nick Washington and Miami Dade 6-foot-9 power forward Marko Krivacevic will also be visiting this weekend.

**Kevin Stallings and Pitt are hosting an intriguing player this weekend. Former Cleveland State player Rob Edwards, who’s transferring, will be on campus this weekend.
Last season, Edwards led Cleveland State by averaging 16.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. The talented guard sought a transfer after the recent hire of Dennis Felton as head coach.
Edwards would have to sit a year and would have two years of eligibility remaining.
