**Duquesne needs some size in their front court and today they offered a pretty big player. 7-foot 2017 junior college center Usman Haruna from Nigeria received an offer from the Dukes. Aside from Duquesne, Haruna also holds major offers from South Florida and VCU. Haruna currently plays for Bismarck State College.

UPDATE (11:57 AM)-

**Southmoreland center Brandon Stone is moving to play at a school in North Carolina. Stone is now a 2019 recruit. He holds offers from Duquesne and Robert Morris among other schools.

**Kevin Stallings and his staff will reportedly host a talented transfer guard. 6-foot-6 guard Malik Ellison, who’s transferring from St. John’s, will be in Pittsburgh this weekend m.

Ellison played in all 33 games for St. John’s last season and averaged 7.4 PPG, 3.3 Rebounds and 2.5 assists.

The sophomore guard will have to sit out the 2017-18 season and will have 2 years of eligibility remaining.

**Big visitor at Pitt practice today. Alan Saunders reports that East Allegheny TE/DE T.J. Banks is at the South Side facility watching the Panthers practice. He’s a big priority on Pitt’s recruiting board.

UPDATE (9:06 AM)-

**Duquesne guard Rene Castro has announced that he’ll graduate from Duquesne and then transfer to another school for his senior season.
