It’s a huge day in the world of college football recruiting.
These changes in the recruiting works start on August 1st and will apply to the Class of 2019.
In a nutshell, here are the highlights of the new rules that were passed today:
**Recruits can take official visits to schools from April 1 of their junior season through the Sunday before the last Wednesday in June.
Prior to today, recruits weren’t allowed visits before September of their senior season.
This change is expected to be the lead towards the big change of a December Early Signing Period, which is expected to get voted on in June.
The new rule also makes a dead period for the month of August and from Monday before the last Wednesday of June through July 24.
