UPDATE (6:04 PM)-

**For the second time today, Pitt has extended an offer to a 2018 quarterback. Within the hour, Nick Patti from Montvale, New Jersey received an offer from Pitt. Patti (6-foot-3, 185 pounds) already holds offers from Boston College, Colorado State, Rutgers, Temple, Marshall and Toledo. These two quarterback offers are very interesting.

UPDATE (2:10 PM)-

**For the second time this week, Pitt has offered a high school freshman. Today it was Damascus (MD) defensive end Bryan Bresee. This is the 9th offer already for Bresee (6-foot-4, 260 pounds) with other ones from Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee, Purdue and Virginia Tech.

UPDATE (9:09 AM)-

**Here’s a couple Duquesne basketball recruiting notes. A name to keep an eye on for the Class of 2017 is six-foot-eight forward Nick Washington. I’m told by a source Washington is waiting to be cleared by the NCAA. This review should be completed by the end of next week. This source also tells me that Washington “wants to be a Duquesne Duke.” Stay tuned.

**The Dukes have offered a 2018 player from Houston, Texas. Shooting guard Miller Kopp (6-foot-6, 175 pounds) has picked up a Duquesne offer. Kopp also holds offers from Davidson, Murray State and Rice.
