It took longer than expected, but Pitt guard Dorian Johnson has been drafted.
The Arizona Cardinals made the talented offensive lineman their fourth round selection (#115 overall).
Johnson was widely expected to be the first Pitt player drafted, but it was revealed during the Draft that he had a medical issue with his liver.
The former Belle Vernon player was named to various All-American teams during his senior year at Pitt. Johnson had been rated as high as a 1st round pick by some draft prognosticators, but many had him slotted as 2nd-3rd round pick.
