Kevin Stallings has officially received the fifth member of his 2017 recruiting class.

Forward Shamiel Stevenson (Hillcrest Prep, AZ) signed his letter of intent to play at Pitt.

Stevenson joins point guard Marcus Carr, power forward Terrell Brown, forward Jared Wilson-Frame and center Peace Ilegomah as the newest Pitt Panthers.

Last season, Stevenson averaged 14 points, 2 assists and 6 rebounds per game for Hillcrest Prep. He is rated by 247 Sports as the No. 34 small forward in the Class of 2017.

“Shamiel will arrrive on campus with ACC-level strength and athleticism as a freshman,” said Stallings. “He is an outstanding athlete with the potential to be an efficient scorer and high-level defender in the top conference in the country.
