Rozelle Nix Leaving Pitt

This afternoon center Rozelle Nix tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he will be leaving the Pitt basketball team.

This move isn’t a surprise considering the other departures this off-season but it does leave another vacancy on the Pitt roster.

In limited minutes this season, the junior averaged 1.4 PPG and 2.6 Rebounds.

Despite not playing a ton, Nix turned into a fan favorite because of his personality and hard working attitude.

With Nix now gone, the only returning players on the Panthers roster are Ryan Luther and Jonathan Milligan.

If he gets his grades in order, I’d expect Milligan to announce soon that he’s also leaving the team.

I’m expecting Kevin Stallings to try and add two more front court players this off-season.
