**Pitt continues to offer athletes in Georgia. Thurman Geathers from North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Georgia picked up the offer. Geathers is a 247 Sports 3-star recruit with over 25+ offers including ones from Maryland, Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas State, Minnesota, NC State, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse and TCU.

UPDATE (9:08 PM)-
**Another Pitt football offer to a recruit from the state of Georgia. Zach Williams (6-3, 205) is a 2018 wide receiver from John’s Creek High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. 247 Sports rates Williams as a 3-star recruit with offers from Cincinnati, Colorado State, Indiana and Akron.

**The Pitt basketball team extended an offer tonight to 2018 power forward Ian Steere from Wesleyan Christian High School in High Point, North Carolina. Steere is a 247 Sports 3-star prospect with offers from Arkansas, Clemson, Connecticut, Florida State, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas Tech.

Ohio 2018 running back Tavion Thomas (6-2, 225) picked up an offer from the Pitt Panthers tonight. 247 Sports rates Thomas as a 3-star prospect that holds over 30+ offers including ones from Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, USC, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Arizona State, Michigan, Michigan State and Nebraska.

**A big offer goes out by Pitt to one of the Top 50 players in the country. 2018 forward Hameir Wright (6-foot-7, 200 pounds) from the Academy of Names Upper School in Albany, New York received the offer. Wright is a 247 Sports 4-star recruit and rated as the 45th best recruit in the country. Wright also holds offers from Miami, Michigan State, Syracuse, Connecticut, Villanova, Dayton, Georgetown, Maryland and West Virginia.

UPDATE (11:59 AM)-

**Second offer of the day by the Pitt basketball team to a player from New York and this is a big one. 4-star 2019 forward Isaiah Stewart (6-foot-8, 235 pounds) from McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester, New York picked up a Panther offer. Stewart also holds offers from Xavier, Indiana, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Florida, Syracuse, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Providence and UMass.

**Central Catholic 2018 defensive tackle David Green made a visit yesterday to Iowa State. Green does hold an offer from Pitt.

**Wright State transfer and Pitt target Mark Alstork begins his official visit to Georgetown today.

UPDATE (9:58 AM)-

**2017 forward Nahziah Carter from Bishop Kearney High School in Rochester, New York received an offer from Pitt this morning. Carter (6-foot-6, 185 pounds) is a 247 Sports 3-star recruit with offers from Boston College, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, UMass, NC State, Penn State, Providence, St. John’s and Washington. Carter was committed to Dayton but was granted his release when Archie Miller left for Indiana.

**Pitt quarterback target Nick Patti received a new offer last night.

**Andre Powell is the second Pitt coach to tweet this out. What’s the meaning behind it? My guess is that a few Pitt coaches are in Ohio today but is it meant for a specific Ohio recruit?

**Congrats to Penn Hills wide receiver Julian Major who received an offer from Michigan State yesterday. The 247 Sports 3-star receiver now holds offers from Arkansas, Wisconsin, Boston College and Kentucky.
