**Pitt has made an offer to a sophomore quarterback. Sam Howell from Monroe, North Carolina picked up the offer and becomes the second quarterback (Grant Gunnell from Texas) in the Class of 2019 to get an offer from the Panthers. Howell (6-foot-1, 205 pounds) also holds offers from Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, NC State, Tennessee and Wake Forest.
