UPDATE (10:08 AM)-
**
An interesting note about an incoming Pitt 2017 women’s basketball recruit. Pika Rodriguez (5-11 forward from Capital Prep Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut) who was named player of the year in Connecticut will be playing with her National Team for the U19’s in Italy in July. Rodriguez will be playing against Suzie McConnell-Serio, who is head coach for the United States. Last year, Rodriguez was a first team All-FIBA in the America’s Championship.

UPDATE (9:50 AM)-
**A very important recruit visited Pitt this past week. East Allegheny tight end T.J. Banks tells PSN that on Wednesday he was on the South Side visited with the entire Pitt coaching staff. Banks says that the Panthers coaches told him he’s a priority recruit for them but that “there’s only one tight end scholarship remaining so it’s whoever commits first.”  Will this have an impact on when Banks makes his decision? Stay tuned.
