A few days ago, blue chip Florida linebacker Kenny Bastida teased that he would have a big announcement tonight at 8 PM.
Minutes ago, Bastida announced that he’s narrowed his long list of offers down to just two schools: Pitt and Michigan State.

The Fort Lauderdale native (Deerfield High School) selected Pitt and Michigan State over other offers from LSU, NC State, North Carolina, Penn State, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
Prior to make his Twitter announcement, Bastida talked to PSN about why Pitt and Michigan State made the cut.
“Pitt was a school that right from the start showed me a lot of love. They’ve given me a good idea of what it would be like to be a player up there. Pitt just seems like one big family.”
“Same with Michigan State. Coach Snyder has been recruiting me from the beginning. They’ve stayed in touch with me and have told me how much they like my game.”
“I feel like I can come in and make an impact early at both schools and that’s something I really want to do,” said Bastida.
“Coach Partridge is recruiting me for Pitt and we talk a lot on Twitter. He tells me and reminds me how much they like my game. He was down here for my spring game.”
Bastida tells me that he’s talked with Partridge about coming up for a visit this summer and that Pitt wants him to visit the school before making any kind of decision.
Bastida says he’ll visit both schools before making his commitment.
