While they start their initial off-season workouts, the Duquesne basketball program will play host to a talented out of state recruit today.

A source tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that Keith Dambrot and his staff will host 2018 Plainfield, Indiana center Gavin Bizaeu.

Bizaeu (6-11, 180) is rated as one of the top fifteen prospects in the state of Indiana. Earlier this week, Bizaeu visited both Butler and Dayton.

Last season for Plainfield, Bizaeu averaged 15.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.

Last month, Duquesne got a commitment from a Dylan Swingle (6-11, 305), a 2018 center from Ohio.

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

One other Duquesne recruiting note. Last night they offered 2018 elite forward Justin Ahrens from Versailles, Ohio.

Duquesne offered Ahrens a day after he de-committed from Ohio State. The 247 Top 150 prospect opened up his recruitment after Ohio State fired Thad Matta.

PSN will have more with Ahrens later today.
