Pitt was the first program to offer Asamoah back in October and since then, he’s received offers from some of the biggest teams in college football.

Aside from Pitt, Asamoah holds offers from Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, Kentucky, UCLA and West Virginia.

This is a player that the Pitt coaching staff has recruited extremely hard and would love to get a commitment from.

The Pitt coaches believe Asamoah would excel in Josh Conklin’s defense because of his speed and athleticism.

Asamoah is a national recruit so either way it’s going to be a battle to land him. However, getting him around Pat Narduzzi and the coaches is key.
