From the beginning, Notre Dame was thought to be a favorite for Mars guard Robby Carmody and today he made it official.
The 2018 4-star shooting guard gave a verbal commitment to Mike Brey and Notre Dame.
Carmody selected the Fighting Irish over Michigan and Purdue. Although he visited them a couple of times last season, Pitt was really never a factor to land him. Carmody did like Kevin Stallings style of play but the Panthers had too much ground to make up with him.
