Another big get for Pat Narduzzi and the Pitt football program.

Not only was it a big get, it was a big recruit from the WPIAL.

Thomas Jefferson 3-star defensive tackle Devin Danielson gave a verbal commitment to Pat Narduzzi and Pitt. The big-time defensive force joins teammate defensive end Noah Palmer as future Pitt Panthers.

Danielson becomes Pitt’s eleventh commitment for the Class of 2018 and fourth from the WPIAL. Narduzzi and his staff have been able to out-recruit a number of big programs for Danielson, Jake Kradel, Blake Zubovic and Noah Palmer.

Danielson (6-3, 290) decided on Pitt over offers from Louisville, Rutgers, Cincinnati, UCLA, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

PSN had Danielson as the #3 prospect in it’s list of Top 20 2018 WPIAL recruits.

Danielson becomes the Panthers third defensive line commitment (Palmer and John Morgan) and PSN believes that they’ll be adding just one more defensive lineman, either a end or tackle.

By the way, PSN’s remaining unsigned WPIAL recruits are Kwantel Raines (#2), TJ Banks (#5), Marcus Hooker (#7), David Green (#8) and Kenny White (#10).
