Following day two of practice, Pitt’s two coordinators, Shawn Watson and Josh Conklin, both spoke to the media.
This is Watson’s first camp with Pitt after replacing Matt Canada. Watson will be without Nathan Peterman, James Conner, Scott Orndoff, Dorian Johnson and Adam Bisnowaty. Will the Pitt offense be dominant again this year?
On defense, Conklin and Pat Narduzzi will be looking for options and ways to fix their secondary, which was a major weaknesses last year. Plus, he’ll be looking to replace Ejuan Price, one of the most dominant defensive players in the ACC.
