UPDATE (11:15 AM) by Alan Saunders-

The Panthers went live with some punt return drills on Wednesday morning. Quadree Henderson is obviously the team’s top punt return option, but with him also returning kick and taking an even bigger role in the offense this season, it might be worthwhile for the Panthers to limit the amount of contact on their consensus All-American.

If he’s going to be replaced on punts, it looks like redshirt junior wide receiver Rafael Araujo-Lopes is the top option. That and more in the sights and sounds of Pitt practice from Wednesday.

UPDATE (10:45 AM) by Alan Saunders-

With a second straight day of practice with temperatures in the high 80’s, Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi talked to the media about the physical grind he’s been putting his players through.

Then, he nearly lost a player to injury mid-interview as defensive tackle Shane Roy fell running out of the locker room.

Luckily, Roy seems to be OK and was participating in practice afterwards.
