When you look at the Duquesne basketball roster, the guard position looks to be solid but size is lacking.
Keith Dambrot and his staff are addressing that in a big way in next year’s recruiting class.
Duquesne basketball on Pittsburgh Sports Now is sponsored by The Summit Academy: setting young men on the path to a better future.
Last night, the Dukes picked up a commitment from Austin Rotroff, a big forward from Wauseon, Ohio.

Rotroff (6-foot-9, 205 pounds) becomes Duquesne’s third commitment for their Class of 2018. Rotroff joins Indiana forward Gavin Bizeau (6-foot-11, 205 pounds) and Ohio forward Dylan Swingle (6-foot-11, 305 pounds) as future members of Duquesne’s front court.
Duquesne was Rotroff’s only offer yet he’s rated a 3-star prospect by both 247 Sports and Scout.
We’ll have more with Rotroff’s commitment later today.
