Pitt Depth Chart Released for Rice Game

Published

on

For Pitt it has to be about moving on to the Rice game and trying to break their 3-game losing streak. If you put any stock in the Vegas odds, the Panthers are favored by 22 points so it’s likely Pitt will earn their second win of the season on Saturday.

The problems with playing a bad team like Rice are twofold: will we learn anything about Pitt? And more importantly, what will Pat Narduzzi and his staff be able to take from the game? Mission #1 has to be to get a win. Secondly, they need to see some sort of production on offense that they can take into the Syracuse game.

As expected, no real changes were listed on the depth chart but that doesn’t mean we won’t see any this Saturday. The two biggest things that standout are Rashad Weaver listed as OR as he battles DeWayne Hendrix for the starting job. Also, Damar Hamlin listed as second team behind Bricen Garner. I’m sure practice will dictate if any juggling needs to be done.
