Decision day is now set for Aliquippa’s Kwantel Raines.
The much sought after recruit announced today that he’ll make his college decision on Monday, October 30. The 4-Star safety will choose between a final five of Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia, Florida and Kentucky.
Who’s the leader for Raines?
The honest answer is no one truly knows. Since this whole process started last year Raines hasn’t been vocal on social media about schools and has conducted himself in a quite, respectful manner despite being someone in high demand.
Many speculate about who’ll land Raines but it’s just speculation. Him and his family have done a great job of not turning his recruiting process into a circus, which easily could’ve have happened.
Over the next 26 days, coaches from these five schools will get in their final recruiting pitch in hopes of making a final impression.
Honestly, I could see Raines picking four of the five schools on his final list. I just don’t see a match with Kentucky but I could be wrong.
If I had to make a guess (and it would be just that a guess), I’d pick either Pitt or West Virginia to land Raines.
No one will know for certain until October 30.
