Pitt Homecoming Week Narduzzi Press Conference

Published

on

Another week, another loss for the Panthers, who fell to 2-4 overall and 0-2 in the ACC after their loss to the Orange of Syracuse this past Saturday. While the Panthers were able to do some good things, one sticking point was the lack of touchdowns for the Panther offense.

“Another tough one for our guys. Three-point loss up in Syracuse, left a lot of plays out there, and really went through the facts last night with our guys really of what we did and really what we didn’t do to win that football game. But they’re scoring touchdowns, we’re kicking field goals, three of them.”

During the conference, Narduzzi officially named Ben DiNucci as the starter and Kenny Pickett as the backup for the NC State game. Also discussed was Pickett’s redshirt, which was burned on the final play of the Syracuse game.

All that, plus NC State’s defense, the offensive line play, the nickel defense, AJ Davis’ lack of reps, Jordan Whitehead’s two-way play and more.
