Quarterback is a position that’s been talked about by Pitt fans a lot during this 2017 season.

Currently, Pitt has a future depth chart that includes Ben DiNucci, Kenny Pickett, Thomas MacVittie and have a 2018 commitment from Nick Patti.

On Saturday, Pitt hosted a quarterback that they hope will join that depth chart in the future.

2019 prospect Davis Beville from Greenville, South Carolina made his first trip to Pittsburgh to check out the Panthers as they hosted Virginia.

Beville made this visit a few days after receiving an offer from Pitt, which was his first Power Five offer.

This morning, PSN has a chance to catch up with Beville to get his impressions of his weekend.

“I enjoyed the atmosphere around the football program. I liked Heinz Field, the entire Pitt coaching staff was great, the team played well and everything all throughout the city was great,” said Beville.

Speaking of the coaches, this was Beville’s first chance to meet the entire staff in person. I asked him what that was like and what message they tried to get across to him.

“They mentioned again how much they liked everything they’ve seen from me on film. They were glad that I was able to come meet them and  start building a relationship which sounded great to me.”

“This was my first big city visit and it was very cool. My parents and I got to tour Heinz Field, after the game I went into the locker room with the team, talked with some of the players and talked more with the coaches. After that I went and toured the campus and went to their practice facility that they share with the Steelers,” said Beville.

Beville is a super talented kid so expect the Power Five offers to continue to come in. This weekend, he’ll be visiting NC State and then will likely visit South Carolina in two weeks.
