Pitt currently has six offers out to quarterbacks in the Class of 2019, two of those players have already verbally committed to schools.

Could another junior quarterback receive an offer tonight?

Hayden Wolff (6-foot-5, 195-pounds) is a 3-star quarterback from Englewood, Florida and tonight he’ll in Pittsburgh for Pitt’s game with North Carolina.

At this point, Wolff only offer has come from Kentucky but that won’t be the case for very long. He’s been on visits to places like Wisconsin, Ohio State, North Carolina and is getting interest from Duke, Vanderbilt and Cincinnati.

Wolff is a kid with a strong-arm, very competitive and extremely smart, carrying a 4.2 GPA in high school at Lemon Bay.

Prior to arriving in Pittsburgh, PSN spoke to Wolff about the visit and his relationship with Pitt.

“I was actually up there for a camp this summer. In addition to that, I was at a Ohio State football camp and Coach Watson was there and he liked how I threw the ball. From there I really started communicating with him and also Coach Wilbert, their recruiting coordinator,” said Wolff.

”I love the atmosphere and just the city of Pittsburgh but I really love Coach Watson. He would be a big factor and influence in my college decision. He’s just such a down to earth guy, he’s very honest and I can really tell that he already cares about me as a player and a person.”

Being such a big athlete, I asked Wolff about his style and strengths as a quarterback.

”I’m a pro-style, drop back passer and use my legs and run when I have to.”

What about an offer? Does the Florida native think one could be coming in the near future?

Obviously, he hopes he receives one but to this point, a scholarship offer hasn’t come up yet but that could change when he talks more with the coaches.

“I’m just looking forward to seeing and talking with Coach Watson and the coaches. Plus, to be able to watch the game at Heinz Field where the Steelers play is going to be awesome. I’m looking forward to being on the sidelines before the game.”
