Kwantel Raines to Visit Pitt Tomorrow

Pitt isn’t out of it yet.

A few weeks after making a verbal commitment to West Virginia, Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that Aliquippa 4-star safety Kwantel Raines will be at the Pitt/Miami game tomorrow as a visitor of the Panthers.

This doesn’t mean that Raines has changed his mind. However, it does mean that he’s giving the Pitt program a chance to continue to recruit him.

From what I hear, the persistence of the Pitt coaching staff is a big reason Raines will visit tomorrow.

One other thing that I’ve learned is that there’s a possibility that Raines will make an official visit to Pitt sometime in December.

Pitt might not be able to get Raines to flip but they’re not going down without a fight.
