Pitt has been pursuing talented Georgia wide receiver Jatavious Harris for a while.
Last week, they received good news when Harris included Pitt in his final three teams. On December 19, Harris will choose between Pitt, Louisville and Mississippi State.
With only 21 days until decision day, the final recruitment of this former Tennessee commitment is getting serious.
Last night, coaches from Louisville made a visit to see Harris and tonight Pitt will do the same.
The big difference for Pitt is that tonight’s visit will be Pat Narduzzi’s one and only in-home visit. Harris tells PSN that tonight Narduzzi, Shawn Watson and Kevin Sherman will all be at his home in Milledgeville, Georgia.
I asked Harris what attracts him to the Panthers and why they were one of his finalists.
“The #1 thing is that they play freshman for sure and I think I would fit perfect in the offense that they run. I’ve watched them multiple times and they throw the ball a lot,” said Harris.
Harris will make his official visit to Pitt on December 8 and then to Louisville on December 15.
