The great thing about this time of the year is that new names surface that prior to this we don’t hear much about.
Since we’re not part of Pitt’s recruiting team, it’s not easy finding places and players they’re targeting until the periods coaches hit the road.

Last night a new name surfaced and he’s someone to keep an eye on.
The Pitt trio of Pat Narduzzi, Shawn Watson and Kevin Sherman were in Florida visiting 2018 wide receiver Jeshaun Jones and it turned out to be a productive trip.
The Pitt coaches will get to spend more time with Jones because he’s coming to Pittsburgh this weekend for an official visit.

Jones (6-1, 170) is a 3-star recruit from Fort Myers, Florida. Like a lot of these receivers Pitt is recruiting, Jones holds an impressive list of offers.
Aside from Pitt, he’s also been offered by Florida State, Georgia, North Carolina, NC State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Carolina, Oregon, Michigan State, Iowa State and Kentucky.
Word is that Jones will soon be bumped up to a 4-Star rating.
Pitt getting a visit is important because Jones only had two left to take. Prior to this, he already went on trips to Tennessee, Iowa State and Maryland.
It was a productive night for Narduzzi, Watson and Sherman because prior to Jones, they visited Florida wide receiver Shocky Jacques-Louis, who also decided to make an official visit to Pitt this weekend.
