Trying to close with high school seniors is important right now for Pitt but so is the process of evaluating juniors and beginning to develop or strengthen existing relationships with them.

Yesterday was a busy day for Pitt in terms of extending offers to juniors and even a sophomore athlete.

Charlie Partridge, the ace Florida recruiter, was busy at Chaminade-Madonna Prep.

In case you missed it, here’s a recap of who received a scholarship offer from Pat Narduzzi’s program.

Cameron Williams (6-5, 215, 2019 DE): Williams is from Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Florida. 247 rates Williams as a 3-Star prospect with offers from Florida, Louisville, Kentucky and Central Florida. In fact, Williams committed to Florida back in July.

Te’Cory Couch (6-0, 160, 2019 CB): Williams is also from Chaminade-Madonna Prep and like his teammate, Couch is also already committed to a school. Back in June, the 4-Star cornerback verbaled to Tennessee. Couch also holds offers from Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Michigan State, NC State, Kentucky and Louisville.

Willie Moise (6-3, 260, 2020 DT): It was a busy day for Charlie Partridge at Chaminade-Madonna Prep as he offered this talented sophomore. Moise already holds offers from Syracuse, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Marshall and Florida Atlantic.

Keontra Smith (5-11, 205, 2019 Safety): Smith is a 4-Star safety who’s already verbaled to Kentucky and holds offers from Auburn, Michigan State, Louisville, NC State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Oregon and Syracuse.

Thad Franklin (6-0, 195, 2021 QB/RB): Franklin is another player at Chaminade-Madonna and he saw playing time at the Florida powerhouse as a true freshman this season. Franklin’s only other offer is from Boston College, so the Panthers are in early on the young athlete. It’s not clear which position Pitt is recruiting him to play at this time.
