Official visit weekend wraps up this morning and the Pitt coaches are back on the road. How did things go and what are plans for this coming week? We’ll work on finding this out.

We’re happy to say that our Pitt Recruiting Notebook is sponsored by Vocelli’s Pizza of Hopewell, Rochester and Dormont. Thanks to owner Bill Cummings for once again supporting Pittsburgh Sports Now so we ask that you support him and Vocelli Pizza.

**Guess it’s not a bad thing when a top target puts his official visit picture as his new profile picture.

**Some information on Tyler Zelinski. PSN is told that Pitt has offered him as a preferred walk on for the Class of 2018. From what we understand, Zelinski will make an official visit to Pitt this Friday. The most interesting aspect of this is that it’s looks as though a quarterback currently on the roster won’t be returning in 2018.

**Pitt with an interesting offer today to a JUCO QB from Erie. We’re currently working to get more information on this potentially interesting development.

**2018 CB Rashad Ajayi’s visit to Colorado State this weekend. He tells PSN that he will still make his official to Pitt this weekend.

**Talked with Ohio 2018 DT Tyler Bentley who visited Louisville this weekend. Here was Bentley’s reaction to the visit.

”I feel as if they are unique in their own ways. Certain things Pitt has Louisville doesn’t and Louisville has things that Pitt doesn’t. But I feel like they are even in my opinion,” said Bentley.

**Jatavious Harris wrapping up his official visit to Pitt.

UPDATE (8:44 PM)-

**Florida wide receiver Jeshaun Jones wrapped up his official visit to Nebraska today. I’m told he was impressed with the tradition of Nebraska and the football facilities. This was Jones last official visit because next weekend he’ll be playing in a Florida All-Star game. Look for him to come out with a Final 3 or 4 soon.

UPDATE (8:39 AM)-

**PSN was told this morning that Florida safety Ron Hardge will make an official visit to Pitt the weekend of January 19. Hardge is currently committed to January 19.

**Assumimg Pat Narduzzi is tweeting this in reference to Georgia wide receiver Jatavious Harris, who’s on his official visit. He’s a player Pitt would really like to get a commitment from.
