The first of two “Pat Signals” has been revealed and it’s a player that made an official visit over the weekend.
Safety V’Lique Carter (5-10, 175) from West Palm Beach, Florida announced on Twitter that he was flipping his commitment from Iowa State to Pitt.
Carter gave a commitment to Matt Campbell and Iowa State in mid-November but soon after that he received an offer from Pitt.
Carter becomes Pitt’s 16th verbal commitment and 8th on the defensive side of the ball. He’s also the third defensive back, along with Judson Tallandier and Marquis Williams, in Pitt’s Class of 2018.
Prior to committing to Iowa State, the 3-star safety received an offer from Oklahoma, which speaks to his talent level.
I imagine Pitt’s other “Pat Signal” from earlier today will be revealed later tonight.
