The Pitt-Louisville basketball rivalry is getting more heated by the day.
A day after Kevin Stallings’ comments of “At least we didn’t pay our kids $100,000,”, former Louisville head coach Rick Pitino responds with a shot at the Pitt coach.
According to the Louisville Courier Journal, Louisville media personality John Ramsey talked with the former disgraced coach from Louisville who didn’t appreciate the barb he got from Stallings.
Ramsey received a text from Pitino that said, “U can quote me -Stallings is a Jackass.”
Pitino was fired following a FBI investigation into his program for alleged bribery, corruption and fraud. Pitino, two assistants and athletic director Tom Jurich were fired for the alleged involvement.
