Another former Pitt Panther has decided on a new home.
First, Kaezon Pugh gave a commitment to Howard University and now Thomas MacVittie has made his decision.
MacVittie has decided to take his talents out west to Mesa C.C. (Arizona).
Instead of losing a year of eligibility and having to sit for another year, MacVittie will now be able to play immediately, which will benefit his development.
MacVittie has talent but has really only had one year of on the field playing experience in the last three years after transitioning to quarterback from wide receiver.
Mesa C.C. is a highly successful football program and has produced NFL talent, most recently Damarious Randall, 2015 1st round pick of the Green Bay Packers.
MacVittie signed with Pitt out of Cincinnati, Ohio but left last month after it became apparent freshman Kenny Pickett was the quarterback of the future.
