UPDATE (8:36 AM)-
**Yesterday, the Pitt staff offered a number of players from Florida including 2019 OG Jamari Williams from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale. Williams is teammates with future Pitt defensive back Marquis Williams. PSN got this reaction from Williams on the offer from Pitt.
”Really excited to get the offer from University of Pittsburgh. It’s been an offer on my list that I’ve been waiting on for a while. Marquis had called me while I was sleeping telling me that I was going to get the offer and next day Coach Patridge came in and he blessed me with a offer,” said Williams.
”It means a lot because Pitt offered me & my boys Vincent Davis also Khris Bogle were all trying to play with each other so it’s definitely a school in my eye.”
UPDATE (6:19 AM)-
**In case you missed it late last night, Pitt won’t be landing 4-star receiver Dominick Watt. Following an in-home visit with Nebraska, the Florida native decided to give Scott Frost and Nebraska a commitment. Yesterday afternoon, Watt told me that Pitt wanted him to move his official visit from this weekend till next weekend. I get the sense that they realized that they weren’t going to be landing him. This is one less player that Pitt has to not worry about finding a way to squeeze in with limited scholarships although they sure would’ve loved to have him.
