DURHAM, N.C. — Pitt point guard Marcus Carr said that the Panthers are keeping their heads up despite being dominated, 81-54, by the No. 5 Duke Blue Devils to drop their seventh straight game in conference play.
“For sure,” Carr said. “Obviously, it’s not fun when we’re on a losing streak, but we’re still staying together, we’re still talking to each other after every game and during every game like, ‘Next game, we’re going to turn this around.’ Just keeping everything positive and keeping the message positive. There’s enough negative out there. We’re all positive with ourselves and each other. We’re going to turn this thing around.”
