Postgame Reaction From Duquesne’s Double OT Thriller

The Duquesne freshmen stepped up in a big way as the Dukes downed the Patriots of George Mason in double overtime at the Palumbo Center, 95-89. Eric Williams Jr. finished with a freshman record 34 points (and the school record for made 3-pointers with nine) and Tydus Verhoeven blocked a freshman record nine shots.

Duquesne now has a 10 game home win streak, the second longest in the history of the Palumbo Center, and is 14-6 on the season and 5-2 in the Atlantic 10.
