It appears as though Pat Narduzzi has another spot to fill in his football operations department.

Da’Vell Winters, who joined Pitt this spring as assistant director of player personnel, apparently is heading back to Oregon. At this point, we’re not sure of his exact title but from his tweet, Winters has joined the Oregon football program.

This is a return to that program for Winters because prior to coming to Pitt, he was an assistant in the Oregon football department where he was involved heavily in recruiting. His responsibilities included official and unofficial visits, prospect evaluations and recruit communications.

This year at Pitt, Winters had similar duties and appeared to be a popular figure with potential and eventual recruits.

Aside from this spot, Narduzzi is also looking for an offensive line coach and also needs to fill the 10th assistant position.
