One of the top sophomores in the country was in town today making a visit to the Pitt football program.

“Yes, this is my first visit to Pitt. I wanted the opportunity to meet the coaching staff at Pitt and to start building a relationship with them. A local friend who is committed to Pitt told me that I needed to come check them out,” said Johnson.

Johnson made the trip with his family and we asked him what stood out most about his visit.

”Pitt gave us a great first impression. What stood out to us most were the facilities and what Coach Narduzzi is doing for the program. Plus, The coaching staff has plenty of experience.”

As I mentioned, Johnson made the trip with his family and we asked Johnson’s mother Monica about her impressions of the day.”

“The shared facilities with the Steelers stood out to me. What also stood out, was the access to the top practitioners in Pittsburgh, because of the top hospitals in the area. Along with the vast experience the coaching staff has.”

Johnson’s recruitment has a long ways to go as he’ll be getting pursued by the top programs in the country but it looks like the Panthers made a good first impression.
