Linebacker Ryan Funa, from Somerset, PA, has received an PWO offer from Pitt. Currently, Funa is committed to play for Mercyhurst University. PSN asked Funa what he plans on doing and he told us, “Honestly, I don’t know. I was honored to get the offer from Pitt but I’m not sure yet. A lot of conversing needs to be done between my parents and I,” said Funa.

For the third time, Pitt has extended an offer to a junior from St. John Bosco in Bellflower, California. Tim Salem has extended an offer to 4-star cornerback Chris Steele (6-0, 175), who is one of the top junior in the country. 247 Sports rates Steele as the 17th best junior in the country and the 2nd best cornerback. As you would imagine, Steele has offers from almost every major program in the country like Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, USC, UCLA and Washington.
