In light of the events of the last few days, this should not come as a surprise to anyone.
2018 Maryland forward, Bryce Golden announced today that he is de-committing from Pitt. The six-foot-nine forward was former coach Kevin Stallings first commitment and was a big fan of the former coaching staff.
A source close to Golden tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he was disappointed with the treatment of Stallings by the Pitt administration and only wanted to play for Stallings.
The news of Golden leaving comes on the heels of Dayna Kingsby announcing his de-commitment and today’s news of eight players requesting release of their scholarships from the University.
