Poll: Are You Happy With the Jeff Capel Hiring?

Our long regional basketball nightmare is over.

Early this week, the Panthers hired Duke associate coach Jeff Capel to replace the fired Kevin Stallings as head of the men’s basketball program, drawing rave reviews from pretty much everyone, including our Mike Vukovcan and John Steigerwald.

Even the hard to please segment of fans known as Pitt Twitter seemed thrilled by the news.

Is there anyone out there unhappy with the Capel hiring? Are you still upset that the Panthers didn’t go with hometown hero Sean Miller? Did you have your heart set on Rhode Island’s UConn’s Dan Hurley? Or did you want to see some other major college coach like Thad Matta or a rising mid-major coach like Nate Oats or Eric Mussleman get the job?
