Jeff Capel is busy recruiting talent for both the Class of 2018 and 2019 and one thing we know for sure is that he has serious interest in former Robert Morris guard Dachon Burke.
This evening, Burke told Pittsburgh Sports Now that Capel will be making an in-home visit to him this coming Tuesday evening. In fact, Burke tells me that since last week, the new Pitt head coach has been in contact with him everyday but one.
Burke says that he and Capel aren’t getting into any deep, serious conversations. Capel’s getting the opportunity to know Burke and allowing the guard the opportunity to know him as well.
Pitt isn’t the only school that’s trying to land this talented guard. In fact, Burke tells PSN that St. John’s is coming to visit him tonight, Nebraska will stop by on Wednesday and Marquette on Thursday.
Earlier this week, Burke was officially released from his scholarship at Robert Morris and will have to sit out next season but will have two years of eligibility remaining.
